Johnson IB World School students have organised an inter-school panel discussion to express the strong condemnation and disapproval of terrorist activities prevailing all over the world and the recent attacks on Mumbai in particular.
Students from various schools all over the city participated in this discussion to express their solidarity and oneness at this hour of need. The idea was to throuw their suggestions to the citizens, community and the Government to deal with terrorism. Some of the points thrown up were; |

- Awareness on the part of every citizen to exterminate terrorism.
- It aimed at removing disagreement between communities.
- Students spoke that values should be inculcated right from childhood and included in their curriculum.
- Poverty leads to terrorism and it is the obligation of every citizen to contribute a part of their income to a fund in order to generate employment for the youth of the nation.
- The eminent judges for the event were Sri B.Ajay, joint commissioner of Labour, Hyderabad , Ms.Bharati, High Court advocate, and Dr. (Mrs) Vanaja, director of the Complete Child Academy . The schools in the final round were Nasr School for girls , Hyderabad Public School , Ramanthapur , Johnson Grammar School , SSC and Johnson IB World School . The winners were the girls of Nasr School - Meghana and Aishwarya.

| Johnson IB World School offers a diploma program for Grade 11 & 12. It is an internationally acclaimed course where students are offered six subjects which include Sciences, Humanities and Languages. Outside the subject areas, the Theory of Knowledge (TOK) and Creativity Action and Service (CAS) also form a part of their curriculum.
As a part of their CAS program, the students of Johnson IB World School undertake various activities for the betterment of society. The Panel discussion organised by them has been a healthy leap in this direction. |
